Sydney Marathon Running Festival

Cure Cancer is proud to be one of the headline charities at the Sydney Marathon Running Festival! And while we have many participants who will be running and raising money for us on the day, we also require 70 volunteers to help at our drink station on the course.
It is a really fun and exciting opportunity that gives you front row seats to the event, a chance to meet new people, gain work and event experience and cheer on the 24,000 runners to ensure that they cross the finish line. So bring a friend or two, and enjoy a great day out with spectacular views of Sydney whilst cheering on runners and helping at the drink station!

- Shift time is 6am to 3pm
- Meeting location: Hyde Park Barracks
- Volunteers receive: an official volunteer t-shirt, ASICS cap, snacks, water, lunch, Certificate of Appreciation and public transport is also included.
Event volunteering
Cure Cancer needs volunteers to help out with our supporter events and fitness events such as City2Surf and Sydney Marathon in 2024.
